What is the TTI?  
The troubled teen industry refers to a network of private programs, often marketed as “behavioral modification” or “treatment," that have been associated with serious harm, coercive practices, and long-lasting trauma for many young people. 

For survivors, recognition matters: it validates lived experience, helps counter stigma, and reinforces that no one should be silenced or erased.
